Who Can Be Nominated?

We invite nominations from a wide range of individuals and organizations who have demonstrated exemplary service and innovation in the education sector. The nominations are open for the following sectors and sub-sectors:

Schools:
- Private Schools (Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary, Higher Secondary)
- Government Schools (Primary, Secondary, Higher Secondary)
- International Schools (All levels)

Individuals:
- Teachers (from all educational levels and subjects)
- Principals / Head of Institutions

NGOs, Organizations, Startups & others, etc:
- Educational NGOs & Foundations
- Education Technology (Ed-Tech) Firms
- Educational Services Institutions (e.g., coaching centers, career counseling, skill development)
- Educational Startups (with innovative solutions and services)

What Kinds of Achievements Are We Looking For?
The Edugate Lion Awards will recognize a diverse range of accomplishments, including but not limited to:
- Innovation in Teaching & Learning: Recognition for implementing creative and effective teaching methodologies, using technology for enhanced learning, or developing innovative curricula.
- Excellence in Leadership: Awarding principals and heads of institutions who have demonstrated exceptional leadership in improving school culture, academic standards, and overall institutional development.
- Community Impact: Honoring institutions and individuals who have positively impacted their local communities through educational initiatives, social work, and outreach programs.
- Ed-Tech Innovation: Celebrating startups and firms that have developed and successfully implemented groundbreaking educational technology solutions.
- Exemplary Social Service: Acknowledging the role of NGOs and foundations in providing quality education to underprivileged children, promoting adult literacy, or offering other critical educational services.
- Teacher of the Year: Recognizing educators who have gone above and beyond to inspire their students, mentor their colleagues, and contribute significantly to their school's success.

Nomination Fee:
To ensure a thorough and meticulous evaluation process by our esteemed jury, a nominal nomination fee is required. This fee helps us cover the administrative costs and the resources needed to conduct a fair and transparent selection process.
- For Individuals (Teachers, Principals): ₹3,540/-
- For Schools, Institutions, NGOs, Startups, and Firms: ₹5,900/-
- For International Schools: ₹9,440/-

Required Supporting Documents:
To validate the nominations and ensure a fair evaluation, we request all nominees to submit the following supporting documents, as applicable to their category:
- A detailed profile or resume of the nominee (for individuals) or a comprehensive institutional profile (for organizations).
- A justification statement (not exceeding 500 words) explaining why the nominee deserves the award, highlighting their key achievements and impact during the specified years.

Supporting evidence such as:
- Photographs, videos, or media clips of events, projects, or initiatives.
- Testimonials from students, parents, or colleagues.
- Certificates of achievement, awards, or other recognitions.
- Reports, research papers, or publications related to the nominee's work.
- Financial reports or annual reports (for institutions and NGOs).
- Any other document that substantiates the claim of excellence.

How to Nominate:
Eligible individuals, schools, and institutions are requested to send their nominations along with all proper documents to the email addresses provided below. Please mention "Nomination for Edugate Lion Awards 2023-24/2024-25" in the subject line.
